Software I Use in 2024
Hey there :)
Just saw my Mastodon friends @Brandon, @jake4480, @jedda, and many others sharing software they’ve been using in 2024, so, here you are, my compilation.
I have a mobile phone - Pixel 7 - which I love and don’t think of changing. I recently replaced its battery myself (thanks to iFixit tutorial) and it is an overall great phone. Up until November, I was using GrapheneOS, but later went back to stock os, because I needed google wallet urgently.
I also own an ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED which is a great laptop to use with Windows. A year ago I tried installing Linux on it, but it had driver issues for camera, microphone and speakers.
And in terms of main machine, I have a custom built PC that runs Windows and OpenSUSE Tumbleweed dual booted.
Now, the software I use.

Looking for recommendations!
If you know some app and would recommend it, please contact, I’d very much appreciate it :)
Budgeting
I want something very simple. Thinking of writing something for myself - the way I like.
RSS reader
I use Miniflux, but would love to have something native to desktop. And I dislike using the app itself to read, as I have discussed before on my blog.
Thanks for reading. See you next year! ๐
