I Am a Lucky Man

Good evening!

Today is a blessed day and I am a happy man today.

The day started by learning that I got a pay rise. A good one.

In the afternoon, I spent the day by cleaning the apartment. I didn’t have proper cleaning tools, but today they got delivered - so I cleaned everywhere nicely. Feels more like home, hehe.

Later that day my brother messaged me, asking if I can get him a book. So I left home for that, and while looking for the book, decided to also do my weekly record purchase. Which went very nice!!

Had a very delightful talk with the owner. The guy knows every album and their backstories! Next time I need to ask him how does he know all these. Then I asked him for suggestions, and he recommended me his favorite disco-funk album. He also played small parts for me to see my reaction - and I was just amazed! They were all pretty nice.

I choose one more random album which got my attention with its nice looking cover¹. When the owner saw it in my hand, he started talking about it. He knew all about that too 😂. Turns out, when they performed that album for the first time, it was raining in stage. It is a fun cute fact, and I absolutely love it.

Anyways, got the albums, the book my brother requested, and a small Christmas gift for him as well. Then walked around for some time. Koblenz is such a cute small city.

And finally, the best thing - tomorrow I will be visiting my brother and a close friend in Budapest! Hopefully I won’t forget to take my Xbox controller with me, so we can play games with together.

So, that was it. A summary of one of those great days. Just to let you know, this is no where near my usual day 😂. Wanted to specify, because I wanted to be honest. I don’t want the reader to feel bad because they are having a normal day. I actually used to get affected by this a lot. Whenever I saw pictures of people in the Instagram, I started feeling bad because I am “wasting my days” while others are partying, going on hikes etc. Turns out they do as much as me, but unlike my own life, I see their highlights. “The Real Me and The Real You” by Lou.
